How we look after your details
We keep this simple: we only collect what we need, we never sell it, and you can ask us to change or delete it at any time.
Who we are
Ampthill Worship is run by Simon as a sole trader, in Bedfordshire, UK. If you have any questions about your details, email us at hello@ampthillworship.com.
What we collect, and why
- Email sign-ups (merch, live recordings, news): your email address, the lists you chose, and a record of what you agreed to and when. We use it only to send you what you asked for.
- Live set votes: your email and your three songs. We use your email only to keep it to one vote each, unless you tick the box to hear from us.
- The Thankful Wall: your note and, if you add them, your first name and town. These are shown publicly once approved.
- Messages: your name, email and message, so we can reply.
- Gifts: payments are handled by Stripe. We see your name, email and the amount, but never your card details.
To slow down spam we keep a scrambled code made from your internet address for a day. It can’t be used to identify you.
Who else is involved
Our website runs on Cloudflare, and payments go through Stripe. When you play a video on our site it comes from YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode). We only use cookies where they’re needed for the site to work, and none for advertising.
How long we keep things
We keep sign-ups until you unsubscribe, messages for as long as we need to reply, and gift records for as long as the law asks us to for our accounts.
Your choices
Every email we send has a link to unsubscribe or change what you get. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you by emailing us. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
